I've been staying at this apart hotel for over 10 years now, when it was known as Centro Design Hotel. the biggest advantage is that the room is spacious and the location is very central. the reception now opens in the afternoon, but the Egyptian Lady Aysa is always kind and polite. It's the perfect location for visiting the Old Town and is conveniently close to the subway for easy access to other areas of the city. Late arrival was no problem with the key box and the service was quick in responding to any inquiries. Cons: All was good. 👍.

Right in the heart of the Altstadt, so lots of pubs, clubs and restaurants right on the doorstep.
The Altstadt stays awake till 3 am, so you will too. Also, not good for the shy - there are no curtains or shutters and you are overlooked!

Currently having a complaint investigated. Facilities advertised as kitchenette, fridge, kettle, hairdryer, double bed, sofa bed, seating area..... It had none of these facilities. The location was right next to a nightclub so no sleep! We booked for 4 nights and left early after 3.

Not as expected. Description of the hotel on Booked.net is not telling a lot about it. It is much much worth than the description. Beds are very small. No shutters nor curtains in the room even in the toilet. Very weird cancelation policy. Very bad experience and never again.

This hotel is located right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the lively Old City and all its attractions. The rooms are spacious and filled with natural light, creating a comfortable and cheerful atmosphere. I also appreciated the small kitchenette in the room, perfect for preparing quick snacks or meals. The staff was friendly and helpful, making sure that all our needs were catered to during our stay.
The noise from the adjacent nightclub could be a bit bothersome, especially if you're a light sleeper.

Very good place for young people. In the centre of Oldcity - very close to all shops and the river. Very big rooms and kind lady on reception.
Very loud (especially on weekend) - many young people drink and shout outside - impossible to sleep. Very difficult to find it - and also you shoul go by foot with your luggage because no cars aloud in the Old City.

This hotel is located in the very centre of the city, just next to the lively Old City and above a buzzing pub. You can easily explore all the attractions and nightlife without having to travel far. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with a small kitchen and comfortable beds for four people. The staff are friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay. Additionally, the breakfast offered at the hotel is a great value for money.
All was perfect, nothing needs improvement.

Excellent location in the heart of Altstadt, only few minutes from Heinrich-Heine U-Bahn station with great connection to anywhere including Airport or Messe, and in the evening you can enjoy in the old part of town with numerous shops and restaurants.
There are 2 things Design Apart misses, an elevator, which on the other hand is hard to find in those old buildings with 2-3 floors, and above all - a better sign at the entry: you can almost stand infront of there door and not notice it. They should put on a visible sign, flag or similar. The entry looks as a door to a private housing more or less.
